It's worth a try...

Since nothing has worked to get this little man out I have resorted to pre-occupying myself with the most random tasks this afternoon. Let's face it... I am going stir crazy sitting here staring at the wall. It's like watching the grass grow. Nothing seems to be progressing and I am tired of being bored and non-productive.  I am the type of person, that if not productive, I will not sleep at night. I will lay there and think about everything that I should've and could've done. I absolutely despise not having a productive day. 

I called my mom yesterday to see what she was up to this afternoon (meaning today). She is on her way over right now and we are going to spend the day shopping, steam cleaning the carpets and FINALLY finishing the Chifforobe that I have been working on redoing. I might even attempt to bath the dogs. This should take several hours so I am hoping to pass time quickly today. 

As for labor signs... I am 2 days from my due date (Friday, August 28th) and finally began having a few braxton hicks again yesterday evening and last night. They are nothing major but it's a sign that something is still working. Now it's just a matter of getting those BH to turn into the real deal.  But either way you look at it we are getting closer to meeting our sweet little one. I'll keep you posted on the progress. 

Bryce on the other hand is also trying to preoccupy himself at work. Today he is assisting his Director in a "Team Outing". I can't post too much about it, in the event that one of the people attending this outing might read, but it's going to be so much fun. They are heading out around noon today and will be back in around 9pm.  He is hoping that I am able to call him with good news (to let him know that Kyah is on his way) but I don't imagine that will happen today (though it sure would be nice).
