Sunshine and Baby Smiles ... I decided to take Kyah outside this evening for a little playtime to celebrate his 9 week Birthday. I got a quilt of out the ottoman and hauled it to the backyard to a nice shady area. I got everything set up, sat him down and lo and behold he sat up all by himself with no assistance. I of course had the camera with me in case we had any photo opportunities so I was able to capture this on film.

"Hey there"...
He was sitting on my knees probably wondering why I was taking so many pictures. (note: I was holding him in this one- he's not that talented yet. haha)
We moved over to the swing to see about getting a few more pictures. He was not happy about this.
Hinting at me that this was not his cup of tea and that he wanted to go inside.
Mommy got the hint and we went in.
Happy 9 weeks son! Mommy and Daddy sure do love you!

Wow, Thats way early to be sitting up unassisted isn't it? Great job Kyah. Your one advanced little guy. I can't believe he's 9 weeks already.

Is he really sittting up all by himself?? Wow that is so early Brody didn't do that until he was like 6 1/2 months!! That is awesome!! He is absolutly adorable!!

Holy Moly! That's one strong little guy to be holding himself up!!! Such a cutie! Now if you write a post about him eating his first steak tomorrow, Im going to be blown away again!!!!

i'm totally amazed by him sitting up! not going to lie, as soon as i read this i tried to get hank to do it. HA! he is NOT quite there ;-)
