Announcement #2

So here is a conversation that I had with my mother this past Friday.

Me: "Hey Mom.. what are you doing?"

Mom: "Not much, what's going on?"

Me: "Well, remember that nurse that I had a Baylor, Channon? I just found out that she lives a few blocks away from me. Small world huh?"

Mom: "Yea, I remember her. She was your night nurse when things got bad. She was also so nice even when you were biting her head off because you were in so much pain."

Me: "Ha.. yea, I guess. I don't remember too much about that, but I bet I was a little snappy with her at times. I was hurting... "

Mom: "Well, I was going to call you.  We will not be listing the house after all.   Your Dad is moving to Santiago, Chile next week."

Me: "What? I thought you guys were going to put the house up for sale next week. I'm confused?"

Mom: "Dad was contacted by the founder/President of ____ Company and was asked to join them as an Adjuster when they go to Chile next week. You know how they just had all of those Earthquakes, well... they need people down there to help with the disaster stuff and he wanted your Dad on the team. He'll be working there for about a year, maybe two."

And the conversation proceeded and we talked about all the options. She told me that she will continue to stay at home and he will travel back from Chile every month or two and that she will go and stay with him for 2 weeks or so (about every 6-8 weeks).

Talk about a turn of events.

We are having them over for lunch this afternoon to say farewell to him... well at least for a few months anyway.

We love you Dad and can't wait to see you when you come home to visit.

What's crazy.. I have even MORE News to come!

And Don't forget to enter the giveaway if you haven't already.

Double what Dawn said. While I get his reason for it, I'm really going to miss that guy. Although I suppose if I still get to see him at Christmas then it won't feel too different.

Love you Uncle! Be safe.
