Too Cute Tuesday- Trip to Lubbock

We went to Lubbock TX this past Thursday and arrived back Sunday night.  Let me just start this post by saying that Baby K did AMAZING! He slept the entire way there, only waking for about 5 minutes to play with his links. Then he slept majority of the way home (6 hours) and when he was awake he just played by himself. He finally broke down when we were about 2 miles from home... Great timing huh?

I took Alyssa (my oldest Niece) out for a mani & pedi and a trip to the store for some "Birthday Presents". I took her to the Dollar Tree and let her choose 1 present for each of her parents and siblings. That way when we "opened presents" for my birthday, everyone had something. She had a great time picking out things for her family and couldn't wait for them to open her gifts. We had a great time eating ice cream at the park and chatting about a 4 year olds life.  I am looking very forward to many "dates" with her as she grows.

Next I took Connor (my only nephew) out to Cold Stone Creamery for ice cream and out to shop.  Being a goofy boy, he choose the Blue Icecream (Cotton Candy) with m&ms.  They gave him so much that he couldn't finish it. After Ice Cream we went shopping too. He also chose gifts for everyone in his family and could not wait for them to to open them up.
