{Craft} $5 Fall Wreath

I am so much in the Fall Spirit that I just can't stand it.  I am ALL about Fall Decor and Fall Crafts right now.
With that said, meet my new friend... the $5 Fall Wreath. I first read about this wreath {here}. I changed things up a bit and made it just a tad bit cheaper and less time consuming. That's a win win for me.
Here's what you need: {everything I used was purchased at The Dollar Tree}
1 Rectangular Picture Frame. I used a document frame measuring 8.5'' x11''. {$1}
1 Garland of Fall Leaves {$1}
3 Packages of Jumbo Fall Leaves {$1 each}
*glue gun {had at the house- free}
*wreath hanger {had at the house- free}
What to do:
Begin by opening your packages of leaves. They are quite flat when you open them, so you will need to squish them a bit to give them some dimension.  They have a crape paper type of texture to them and are just so lovely!
Next, you will need to remove the glass from the frame {permanently} and also unravel your Leafy Garland.
Start by gluing your garland to the {now glassless} frame.  Once it is dry and secure begin arranging your giant leaves into a pattern.
Honestly, I just put a drop of glue on the back and stuck it randomly on the frame. I did this until I had used all 30 leaves. Very simple. It took about 20 minutes or so to complete from start to finish.
NOTE: I plan on adding our Family Initial to the center of the wreath sometime soon. I was just so in love with it that I had to share it with you now.
Because we are in corporate housing right now, the wreath adorns the interior of the front door. I LOVE how it turned out and I just wish that I had the right lighting to capture it's true beauty. It's so full and lush. These photos just do not do it justice. However... I do encourage you to give it a shot.

Wow, Erin! I just went back and read your birth story...can't believe I had never read it before. I have tears in my eyes...such a traumatizing event for you and your family. I can't even imagine.

In the pictures, it's easy to see how weak you were...even your lips were pale.

You truly are a living miracle. I guess God knew your work here on earth wasn't quite done yet and that you were needed here!!

It looks so good! I think the monogram or letter in the middle will definitely add the finishing touch! Can't wait to see the updated look!
