That's one of my all time favorite quotes. I just love it. It also happens to be very suiting for our family today.
As you know, this past Monday Mr. Dubs moved to our new city and had to leave Kyah and I behind. {boo}.
Today, Kyah and I made the trip to our new city to be with Daddy! We had a great road trip and are so glad to be together again as a Family.
We arrived at our new "Temporary Home" and well... it's not like our house. It's a 2 bedroom apartment on the second floor with parking a block away. Not to forget that I have a baby and two dogs to tend to. {ick and more ick}.
The apartment itself is great. It has the crown molding, the furnishing are great, the bed linens are amazing and it's floor plan is very spacious. I'll try and share some pictures with you all tomorrow.
After settling in we hit the roads to go shopping and buy our sweet baby boy some toys to play with here. I left his at home, considering he rarely plays with them, I didn't feel to bad about that.
Stop #1... Ikea
{Bad quality photos. They were taken with my phone}
Daddy thought it would be fun to put him in the bin of stuffed soccer balls.
I have to say... Kyah did have a great time! It was precious. There was another couple in the kid area with a little one that did the same thing after we walked away.
It's always fun to be a trend setter. {ha}
Kyah was in a totally goofy mood this evening.
This picture is proof. What a silly boy! He looks like a little mouse.
Stop #2... Petsmart
Even though we went in for puppy stuff, we had to stop by the fish.
He thought they were great.
It's one of our favorite stores. He just loves watching animals.
On a slightly different note, I need your help!
As I mentioned above, we are now living on the second floor in an apartment with two dogs and a baby. Because we are used to a house, I really need some advice.
What in the world do you do about taking the dogs potty? Normally I would just open the back door and let them out. Now I am going to have to put them on leashes, get Kyah, walk down the stairs {and hope that I can keep my balance- as they are a bit excited they are in a new place and pull too hard}. I am not leaving my child in this apartment for one second while I take them outside. Lord knows how long it would/will take them to potty anyways. At this point, I am just clueless. I bought some potty pads at the store { 10 for $3.99- in case they didn't work} and well... the dogs just look at it like I put a napkin on the patio. They are clueless!
So, if you have any help, I would really appreciate it. I am sure with time that I will figure something out, but if you can give me a head start, that would be wondeeeeeful!
