Amoras Nursery Pics
Here are a few pics from Amora's Nursery.
{it was a rainy week and the lighting was never fabulous enough}.
This is about as afar as I got two weeks after bringing her home. Since then I have moved on to other projects in the house and have neglected to do much else in her room. It's not exactly as I had planned, but it will just have to do.

This Armoire was Bryce's when he was growing up. It came with him from Mexico when he moved back to the states. It was rustic with wrought iron handles. After a coat of paint, new drawer pulls and some fun fabric inside, it now serves as Amora's Diaper Changing area.
The bedding was ordered from a fun little shop on Etsy. It was purchased last February (8 months before we started the adoption process). I saw it, loved it, bought it and knew I would use it one day. If not, I would have sold it.

The chair was a goodwill fin {like 99% of everything in the room} and was painted and reupholstered with the wonderful chevron fabric that was 50% off a Hobby Lobby.

I knew I needed storage in her room so I would not settle for a side table that did not provide any. Instead, I chose the RAST chest from Ikea. It comes in a natural finish so I painted it red, gave it a glaze treatment and added the feet and the knobs. {the knobs are glass}.
The AMAZING pillow was gifted to us by a great friend, whom also is a wonderful blogger {Life, Crafts & Whatever} and owns an Etsy shop where you can buy your own.
We have a little reading area and a rocking chair in the corner.
Oh, and that adorable boppy cover was one of the rare "new" things that I purchased for the room. It matched the colors so it was a must have. I bought it at Designs By Christy for a whopping $25. She has the most amazing selections and for the same price as the store.
The cute little blanket that you see on the crib was handmade by a friend as well. We are so loved!
And one other view of the changing table. It has lights for those late night changes {well... we don't have them anymore, but it was nice when she was a newborn}.
That's all she wrote folks. While I have a bazillion pics of the details in the room, those will come soon when I can share the how-to's for them.
