Halloween: Cat & Mouse
I hope you guys had as much fun as we did on Halloween. Kyah is at the perfect age to "get it".
I waited until the day before to put their costumes together. In fact, I wasn't even sure I wanted to do halloween this year. I have been so busy these days that making costumes was the last thing I wanted to spend my time on. However, if you know me, you know that I HAVE to make them. I go all in or don't go at all.

A few months ago Kyah told me that he wanted to be Mickey Mouse.
He was also pretty certain that Amora needed to be Minnie Mouse.
I had to make his dreams come true. Any good momma would do that.

Meet "Pirate Mickey".
Pirate Mickey cost me a total of $9 to make.
$3 Sweat Pants {cut}
$3 Black Turtle Neck
$3 Pirate Mickey Hat {found at Goodwill... this is what set the "Pirate" Theme.

Meet Princess Minnie
Ok, so she's isn't princess themed per say, but it goes without saying she is always a princess.
Minni Mouse cost me a total of $3. Yep... Three Buckaroos.
$2 for the ears {I was going to make them but ran across these in Goodwill and saved myself some time}.
$1 in White Felt {for the dots on the skirt and a little strip to cover up the words on her pink onsie}.

With all of the crafting stuff I do I owned the tulle. As spoiled as Amora is she owned the rest. Haha

Is it just me or can you see into her teen years by looking at this face?

We had a blast and I am looking forward to being a bit more "original" with next years costumes.
You just can't go wrong with a good ole' classic though.
